			<description><![CDATA[<p>Bonjour,</p><p>La transcription de l&#039;interview a été fait par guildwars2hub.<br /></p><div class="quotebox"><blockquote><div><p>This release (Cutthroat Politics) gives an idea of where we want to go - that it provides a better permanency: a vessel to wrap a story around. <br />There are intentions to update existing dungeons (including Fractals) to make those more fun.<br />We want to have a story throughout the world to drive that (Living World) change.<br />We want to add more permanent experiences; the outcome of this vote brings mini-games back that people love. <br />Players will vote on what teams build the new Fractal from scratch. <br />As an extra bonus (to talk about next Tuesday) not just are you voting on the Fractal, we&#039;re going to bring back the Molten Weapon facility and Aether Blade Retreat as Fractals by the end of the year. <br />We want to focus on permanently upgrading the game world, not just temporary content.&#160; <br />We&#039;ve grown our living world content: we now have 4 teams which will rotate content releases each month. <br />On Thursday this week we&#039;ll put out a blog post about what other teams are working on throughout the year: providing more transparency for where we want to go over the next 6 months. <br />ArenaNet haven&#039;t decided if we&#039;re building traditional expansions (we&#039;ll talk more about it in the future). The contents you find in expansions (regions, dragons, races) we plan to build those in the future. We&#039;re trying to find out how we roll those out. Experiences such as Dragons will be happening.<br />No new Dragon this year.<br />We&#039;ll see the impact of content team productions become bigger later in the year. <br />Our focus is on creating a unique world experience (not server based ones). We feel our Living World project is only just beginning. <br />There is a possibility that we&#039;ll go back to locations in GW1. Traditionally a new region (such as added via an expansion) is compelling. We will add new regions- some of those will be peoples favorites.<br />The story line we&#039;ve been experiencing this year will become clear by the end of the year. There is a nice ribbon that wraps around all of it. <br />Our Fractals are a perfect vessel for us to bring moments in the universes history into the game. <br />We are building our LFG tool right now. It&#039;s complicated, but it is coming along really well (play test completed yesterday!). It will be out this year. <br />We&#039;ll see additional Personal Story. Think of the Living Story as the entire world growing and evolving. Within that you&#039;ll have more characters in that.<br />We want to add permanent and temporary content that is compelling. We really want an &quot;I was there&quot; approach to what we&#039;re delivering. We can&#039;t have some things running forever- we need to strike a careful balance. <br />We&#039;ll invest in skills first before new professions. There are some archetypes we didn&#039;t cover. <br />No plans now for next gen-console port of Guild Wars 2. We want the freedom to update our game as and when we like. Consoles don&#039;t have that. <br />Well over 3 million copies sold and not yet in the biggest regions. <br />Tokens are dropped everywhere out in the game world for the election. This is not a traditional election: it&#039;s pirate. You can see candidates buying votes from players and using dirty tricks. The Black Lion Trading Company are also involved.
